Ingredients
For Vada
- 1 cup Kalash Dahi Vada Mix
- Water as required
- Oil for frying
For Yogurt Mixture
- 2 cups fresh curd
- 2 tbsp sugar
- Salt to taste
- Roasted cumin powder
Toppings
- Tamarind chutney
- Green chutney
- Red chili powder
- Roasted cumin powder
- Fresh coriander
- Sev or pomegranate seeds
Instructions
Step 1 – Prepare Batter
Take Kalash Dahi Vada Mix in a bowl.
Add water slowly and whisk well until fluffy.
Step 2 – Fry Vada
Heat oil on medium flame.
Drop small portions of batter and fry until golden.
Step 3 – Soak in Water
Place fried vadas in warm water for 5 minutes.
Press gently to remove excess water.
Step 4 – Prepare Curd
Whisk curd with sugar, salt and cumin powder until smooth and creamy.
Step 5 – Assemble Dahi Vada
Place vadas in a serving bowl.
Pour chilled curd over them.
Add chutneys and toppings.
Serving Suggestion
Serve chilled with extra chutney and fresh coriander.
